Carnage (2011)
N-am apucat sa scriu de primul film important care a intrat la cinema in 2012, Carnage. Totodata primul film al lui Roman Polanski, dupa arestul swiss, e un subtil "fuck you", adresat societatii mic-burgheze asa zis civilizate si institutiei ei cele mai respectabile si sacrosante, familia ! Si cea mai ipocrita si putreda (institutia :0, de aceea poate fi dinamitata dinauntru !
Doua cupluri de parinti se confrunta pentru a discuta bataia dintre fiii lor, baieti pre-adolescenti. Un film greu de regizat, huis-clos, dupa piesa de teatru "Le dieu du Carnage", de Yasmina Rezna. Dar Polanski acopera expert toate unghiurile unui apartament (DOP, Pawel Edelman, la a patra colaborare cu regizorul), intr-o mizanscena calculata minimalist si decupata inteligent-uiti curind ca esti intr-un univers teatral. In patru personaje, si coperti (one shot, a la De Palma, cu closing credits care curg pe un singur cadru cu punch-line, nu chiar ca in Snake Eyes dar de remarcat ce se intimpla in ultimul plan) Jucat de cvartetul Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet, John C. Reilly si Christoph Waltz (excelent accent) cu virtuozitate in ceea ce se numeste "performance piece" (Foster mi s-a parut cea mai fortata, dar poate sa fie o parere), actritele fiind nominalizate si la Globul de Aur (comedie).
premiera la Venetia, muzica (teme pe generice) de Alexandre Desplat. Polanski are un cameo ca vecinul din apartamentul vecin, iar fiul sau apare ca unul din baieti (cel cu batul).

Chinese Democracy ???
Titlul absurd al abumului Guns N' Roses avea noima atunci...si acum. In loc de Revolution Calling, sau ce se-ntimpla si la noi de citeva zile, un titlu furios al albumului din 2008 !

Megadeth cinta la Bucuresti din nou !
