Noul album David Gilmour, RATTLE THAT LOCK, dupa cel din 2006 (On an Island) si la patrulea din cariera, apare pe 18 spetembrie. Piesa-titlu suna mult a Roxy Music, normal cu Phil Manzanera in echipa (co-producator de disc aussi, ca si la On an Island si The Endless River), si e bazata (in mod nerosimil sau nu? dar supercatchy si deci genial ! ), pe jingle-ul de anunt tren din garile SNCF !!! La prochaine fois en train en France, ca va soner vraiment diferent !

Animatia, alb-negru e sumbra si absconsa, artsy, mai mult la ceea ce m-as fi asteptat de la un clip Waters.

Turneul incepe pe 12 septembrie la Pula, Croatia unde voi avea onoarea si premiera de a-l vedea finally, alaturi de Vlad Ot Sardegne, asta dupa rateul de la Praga din 1994 (am ales Ray Charles si James Brown si bine am facut !) si Venetia din 2006 (aminat o sapt apoi in potop, v.dvd turneu).

LMA Brian De Palma, premiu aniversar si documentar despre el la Venetia & retrospectiva la Cinemateca Brasov

Miercuri 9 septembrie Brian De Palma va premi un premiu pentru intreaga cariera la festivalul de la Venetia. anume "Jaeger-LeCoultre Glory to the Filmmaker". Tot acum un documentar despre el intitulat "De Palma" si regizat de tinerii cineasti Noah Baumbah si Jake Paltrow, ofera o retrospectiva a carierei unuia din cei mai iconoclasti regizori din istoria cinematografului. Brian De Palma implineste 75 de ani pe 11 spetembrie (dopplegangerul sau italian, Dario Argento a implnit aceiasi virsta pe 7 sept a.c.). Festivalul de la Venetia a prezentat de-a lungul timpului 7 filme de BDP, si a premiat cu Leul de Argint in 2007 controversatul (in SUA) Redacted. Acum proiecteaza Blow Out si Scarface !

Pe 7 septembrie Dario Argento a implinit 75 de ani. LMA ! La Venetia regizorul Luca Guadagnino (A Bigger Splash) a anuntat ca va prelua el remake-ul la Suspiria, la care din 2007 incoace a fost atasat David Gordon Green.
Recent Argento, dupa duda cu Dracula 3D din 2012, a regizat pe scena. opera Macbeth de Verdi, inregistare care ar fi available pe blu-ray cu 40 de euro.
Dar il maestro nu se lasa batut via il cinema !

Noul sau proiect se numeste THE SANDMAN (fara legatura cu Neil Gaiman, dar creditat lui E.T.A. Hoffman), si il are in rolul principal pe nimeni altul decit...Iggy Pop !!!!
