bought by STX after a bidding war for 10 m. $ this Russian goodie in 1st person POV -game style is a unique kind of film taking Lady of the Lake to a nut hardcore level. Plus features a mad perforance from South African Sharlto Copley (District 9, Chappie, Elysium). A cameo by Tim Roth. Great villain Akan-Danila Kozlovsky. Beautiful Halley Bennett as the wife/motivator. Great soundtrack -from Stranglers to The Temptations, to Biting Elbows, Devendra Banheart, to Queen and a rendition of You Got Me Under My Skin by split personalities of Sharlto Copley. Plus music by Dasha Charusha (who is the dominatrix biker in the film) !

Director Ilya Naishuller did practice with 2 videos in first person POV for Russsian punk band Biting Elbows (who contribute on the soundtrack), Bad Motherfucker (in 2013),
the basis of Hardcore (before it was also Henry). Then The Stampede, also POV for them.
After H.H. he directed another 1st person POV action video, for the band The Weeknd -False alarm (2016)
but his latest effort is surreal, a clip for Leningrad band, Kolshik, all in reverse !!!
