Jeff Hanneman RIP
A murit chitaristul de la Slayer, Jeff Hanneman, la 49 de ani !

Artistul in varsta de 49 de ani se afla in spital pentru a fi tratat ca urmare a unor probleme la ficat. A lasat in urma o sotie, o sora si fratii sai. In 2011, Hanneman a contactat o bacterie - in urma unei muscaturi de paianjen - care i-a devorat carnea de pe brat, astfel ca a fost operat de la incheitura la umar.'
'Este un virus care iti mananca pielea, foarte, foarte rau. Asa ca o sa asteptam sa se vindece si cand este 100%, o sa ni se alature pe scena", declara Tom Araya (2011).

După o activitate de 15 ani, Dire Straits s-a dezmembrat în 1996, moştenirea lor fiind dusă mai departe de către trupa The Straits. Aceasta cantă exclusiv piese ale celebrilor britanici şi răspândeşte atmosfera tipică unui concert Dire Straits în întreaga lume.

Cannes Classics 2013

The films selected for the 2013 edition will be screened in the company of those who restored the films as well as those directors that are still with us today. This year’s programme of Cannes Classics is made up of twenty feature-length films and three documentaries. The films will be screened according to the wishes of copyright holders in 35mm, DCP 2K or DCP 4K.
Dupa cum am scris deja, Kim Novak vine sa prezinte copia restaurata la VERTIGO de Alfred Hitchcock.
Dar filmul editiei este LA GRANDE BOUFFE (Marea crapelnita) de Marco Ferreri, care a provocat unul dinc ele mai mari scandaluri din istoria Cannesului, la premiera din 1973.

Euzhan Palcy’s film, SIMEON (1992, 1:55) will be screened in honour of the 100th birthday of Aimé Césaire.
