Porumboiu, adjectiv

sau Filiera vasluiana (fara legatura cu Andi vasluianu :-)
story< acum 3 ani eram in fata la Petit Poitiner si ii ziceam lui Corneliu, ce chul trebe sa te simti ca esti in competitie cu William Friedkin, autorul lui French Connection (el era cu BUG !!!), la aproape 5 decenii diferenta,
zice Porumboiu, "I love French Connection"
acuma Paugheskipeie moldovesc e Vaslui, unde Dragos Bucur (finally good, unboogied), e un politist de 2 bani, care sta in frig pe ulitze nepietruite si gropelinice, si fileaza 3 pusti care fumeaza hasish.
In lucru cu titlul "Intermediar", acum filmul se numeste POLITIST, ADJECTIV, de la DEX si film politist...
extrem de diferit de A fost sau n-a fost, al doilea lungmetraj al lui Porumboiu va debusola la greu ! In primul rind prima ora e excrusciating, la fel cum ai privi furnici masturbindu-se, u see, we see nothing, but what do we feel? ! Dar payofful vine la final si pe deplin.
Un rol extrem de secubnar dar esential al lui Vlad Ivanov, as chief of police, si finally, o folsire mistho a muzicii, Mirabela Dauer, Iubire fara soare, or so, o piesa care se explica in film, nu ca pina acum (minus Gica P karaoke in Boogie cu care mi-am exprimat problema in cronica)...
Oke, cineva, nu spui cine, mare om, mare carcter, a zis, "Dumnezeu l-a facut pe Corneliu sa fie Ion Creanga si el vrea sa devine Agirbiceanu", mai potrivit ar fi (dixit Tica Popescu), Alain Robbe -Grillet !!! Io zic un echivalent literar al lui Bresson, naturalist, TBC kare ?!

Bakjwi (Thirst)

ok, tocmai am iesit de la noul megafilm cu vampiri al lui Park Chan Wook. Am mentionat prima oara de el aici, unde e trailerul. In Coreea vad ca a iesit deja; posterul a avut probleme deci i-au dat jos picioarele fetei (Kim Ok-bin).

A mon avis; premiu de interpretare ei; bine ca PCW si actorii nu sunt catolici; pentru ca vor fi excomunicati; cel mai erotic film cu vampiri de la HUNGER incoace, nu e film horror ci pe rind: drama; drama cu familie disfunctionala; film de dragoste; comedie neagra; drama romantica; so on.
elemente de Takashi Miike si Kim Ki Duk in cel mai atipic PCW de pina acum (i-am vazut toate filmele, dar la cel anterior; I am a Cyborg, am renuntat ca m-au lasat nervii, si Thirst te pune astfel la incercare pe portiuni), am recunoscut elemente de Carrie si e un bun companion al suedezului Låt den rätte komma in / Let the right one in ; dar mai adult, sick si asiatic (Asia Extreme i mean)
Song Kang-ho (vedeta coreana, a jucqt la PCW in JSA, ambele Vengeance si la Bong Joon-ho in Memories of Murder si Gwoemul), e un preot care se ofera voluntar injectarii cu un virus numit Emanuel, si astfel e transformat intr-un vampir. Intra in legatura cu o familie cel putin disfunctionala (mama, fiu, sotia sa) si se indragosteste de fata. Cu cel putin jumatate de ora prea lung (2 h 13) si inegal; au fost momente cind m-am gindit la filme mai interesante; isi ia timpul sa se dezvolte dar isi revine in ultima jumatate de ora.

Apropo de Bong Joon-ho, acum am observat ca e in competitie la Un Certain Regard cu Mother, descris drept un thriller dramatic !
and in Certain Regard related news, filmul lui Mungiu and co, Amintiri din Epoca de Aur a fost cumparat de IFC pentru SUA azi, veste destul de majora pentru a fi pe pagina de garda a revistei Cannes Market !

Cannes Film Market Healthy

Jérôme Paillard, who oversees Cannes's Marché du Film, the business end of the Cannes Film Festival, maintained that contrary to distressing reports of studio marketing cutbacks at Cannes and fewer hotel and yacht rentals in town due to the recession, "we haven't really seen any impact here from the crisis." Cannes Market News, the official daily trade publication distributed by the Marché, reported today (Wednesday) that "organizers expect attendance numbers to come out at around the same levels as last year by the close of the Marché." Paillard suggested that the main difference between this year's festival and those preceding it is that a lot more 3D films are being screened. On the other hand, former Daily Variety reporter Rex Weiner writes in today's (Wednesday) online Huffington Post that both trade publications, Daily Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, have significantly cut back on their Cannes coverage with Variety using a skeleton crew in Los Angeles -- instead of one on-site -- to produce its daily Cannes edition. The Reporter has assigned only four reporters to Cannes (plus two reviewers). Weiner concludes: "While the cutback in trade reporting from the field may be yet another symptom of the media's overall malaise, it also marks a tipping point for the Cannes Film Festival itself. The importance of Cannes has diminished in the film world over the years (when was the last time a Palme d'Or winner was also a hit at the Us box-office?), and now the lack of serious coverage by industry journalists may prove to be its death knell." As another sign of degeneration, a small group of accredited writers -- who apparently have never had to work in a noisy newsroom -- succeeded in persuading the attendants in a press room at Cannes to mute the monitor showing live coverage of the festival's news conferences -- on the grounds that the audio was distracting.

s-a dat primul film 3 D ever sa dechida festivalul, animatia Pixar, UP ! , erau ferte cu baloane \up/ peste tot, un fel de Mr Magoo meets old fashoned Robert Luis Stevenson fil,s, chitty chitty bang bang ! dar nici vocile nu sunt famous, Ed Asner ? Problema e ca la noi probabil n-o sa-l pot vedea 3D pt ca o sa fie o singura copie dublata !


ok, azi primul film, in market (nu, nu aveti voie sa intrati ca e numai pt market, da de ce, e scoop, ca filmul e in cinema, aaah, bine....)
OSS 117, Rio ne reponds Plus ! good fun, ,ai bun si mai sofisticat decit primul la care cronica mea o gasiti aici,
mai multe calambururi, poante mai subtile, extrem de politiquement incorectement.

se petrece 10 ani mai tirziu ca primul OSS, are referinte Bond si Hitchcock (Vertigo, Nord prin Nord Vest), Blake Edwards si Thomas Crown Affair (split screenuri remarcabile)
Dujardin e irezistibil mai ales cind e idiot si maladroit, Rudiger Vogler e un badguy -bosemench sarmant, locatiile in Rio sunt superbe si exotice, stilul arhaic functioneaza, si Mossadul, crocodilul, chinezii si decolteul dinamita al Carlottei completeaza un cocktail agreabil, mail elegant ca seria Austin Powers
