RIP Little Richard

I just saw The Girl Can't Help It by pure coincidence Friday night, more like Saturday in the a.m. and it just struck me as a freak coinidence. That I haven't seen Frank Tashlin's legendary film from 1956 'til now, where Little Richard plays the title track. One of his signature songs, as  “Tutti Frutti,” “Long Tall Sally,” and “Good Golly, Miss Molly.”  And then, a few hours later Little Richard is no more. He was 87 and rock an roll incarnate, we are left with only Jerry Lee Lewsi alive from that bastion of rock and roll forefathers and inventors.

Rolling Stones -Living in a Ghost Town (SOTD)

News on April 24th, Friday after Easters-after Bob Dylans Murder Most Foul, another rock legend(s) and Trexs, the -Old gods, almost dead-their Satanic Majesties ....The Rolling Stones release Living in a Ghost Town . their first new song since 2012 ! Cisstomised for the CH19 sitauation the video presents an empty London. The șlyrics go like this: 

 “Life was so beautiful / Then we all got locked down … Please let this be over / Stuck in a world without end.”

Living in a Ghost Town was apparently the product of recent recording sessions. By Jagger’s account, the lyrics were already eerily prescient – “about being in a place which was full of life, and then now bereft of life ... full of plague terms” – but were reworked to suit the current moment. They are certainly a far better attempt at coming up with something contemporary and newsy than A Bigger Bang’s clumsy Sweet Neo-Con or indeed Jagger’s Skepta-assisted solo single England Lost.
