Lewis Gilbert RIP

Lewis Gilbert directed 3 James Bonds, one with Sean Connery, You Only Live Ywice in 1967 and two with Roger Moore, The Spy who Loved Me-1977 and Moonraker-1979. He also directd Alfie in 1966, which took the Grand Jury Prize in Cannes and 6 Oscar nominations, The Adventurers -1970 Operation: Daybreak -1975 and Shirley Valentine-1989. Last film in 2002, Before you Go. He was 97 !!!
