in timp ce (re)vedeam cu my Brasov pals Hateful 8, on the biggest screen they have here (ca-i numa unul si la sa nu comentam :(, si ma gindeam ca o sa ii scriu si eu in fine cronica--- this broke in si am aflat via Vlad o Sardegna, in taxi in drum spre casa...
well, Glenn Frey has left the Eagles nest :(
He was 67.
m-am oprit si am luat o sticla de vin de la un nonstop din drum, Tohani be it...si acum ascult intop the freezin nite and howlin to the half-moon--- Glenn Frey, din Miami Vice, din BH Cop si cu trupa pe care a (co)fondat-o in 1967...abia am ascultat in decembrie noul album solo al lui Don Henley si desi personajul meu favorit din povestea Vulturilor este Joe "Fuckin" Walsh ("How Long's your ponytail, Don ?", uttered by The Leary), despre Glenn Frey nu am auzit decit de bine ! Eagles pentru mine sunt o combinatie intre The Band si Bee Gees, ultra-pop si melodic dar si country si rock, o certitudine de crowd pleaser americana si un fenomen global cu peste 150 de milioane de albume vindute !
